Co-Owner & Founder, Director of Clinical Education

Dr. Tara Sullivan, PT, DPT, PRPC, WCS, IF is a pelvic health physical therapist, educator, author, and co-owner of Mind to Body Healing. She has specialized exclusively in pelvic floor dysfunction since 2012, treating complex pelvic pain, bowel and bladder dysfunction, sexual dysfunction, and pelvic health concerns across the lifespan.
Dr. Tara holds the Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification (PRPC) and is a board-certified Women’s Health Clinical Specialist (WCS) through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. She is also a Fellow of the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health (ISSWSH), reflecting her advanced training and commitment to the treatment of sexual health concerns.
Before co-founding Mind to Body Healing, Dr. Tara established the pelvic health program at HonorHealth and helped expand it to 12 locations throughout the Phoenix area. Over the years, her clinical work has increasingly focused on complex pelvic pain, vulvar and vestibular conditions, sexual medicine, and patients who have often seen multiple providers without finding clear answers, male and female.
Education has always been a major part of Dr. Tara’s work. She has taught continuing education courses for rehabilitation professionals, lectured for physical therapy programs throughout Arizona, and authored courses, clinical resources, and educational materials in pelvic rehabilitation and sexual medicine. She is also the co-founder of PelviEd, a nonprofit organization created to advance pelvic health education, mentor clinicians, and help expand access to high-quality pelvic health care.
At Mind to Body Healing, Dr. Tara continues to actively treat patients while mentoring other providers and developing educational programs and books for healthcare professionals. Her approach is highly individualized and combines detailed clinical assessment with patient education, collaboration with other healthcare providers, and a commitment to understanding the why behind a patient’s symptoms, not simply treating the symptoms themselves.
Dr. Tara believes patients deserve to feel heard, understood, and empowered in their care. Her goal is to create a space where even the most personal or complicated pelvic health concerns can be discussed openly and treated with compassion, clinical expertise, and a clear plan forward.
